Bam Margerra escapes from rehab.

  

  Bam is an alcoholic. Upon seeing him in the news this morning and reading about his previous rehab escapes, I laughed.  

 I did not laugh at Bam or the pain Bam brings to himself and the people who love him. 

 I laugh at how silly the world is. I laugh at rehabs. I laugh at non alcoholic people trying to help alcoholics. Its almost impossible. 

 I laugh at the silly news articles written by people who know nothing about addiction.

 What Bam needs is a hug. I would give him a hug and offer to help him quit drinking. IF he said he didnt want my help, I would give him some pocket money and drop him off at a liquor store and wish him luck.  

Bam is rich and most alcoholics have to hit a bottom before they decide to quit drinking. Bam is wearing thousand dollar sunglasses and has gold chains hanging from his neck. He might not get the luxury of sleeping in a ditch, broke, with nowhere to go and no one to do it with. Rich people often have a much tougher time getting sober than regular people. 

 Some people dont know that their bottom will be an early, miserable death or a long prison sentence after you wake up in jail and cant remember what you did. I feel bad for Bams family. I hope he gets his shit together and gets sober.  

 An adult male alcoholic escaping from a rehab just makes me laugh ..... Its so fucking ridiculous 

 If they really wanted to help him they would give him a ride to the bar.
