A long, long time ago there used to be this thing called the newspaper. We would read it daily and there would be 2 types of cartoons that you could find there. The first was something called a cartoon strip. Blondie, Andie Capp, Far Side and one of my most fav's, Calvin & Hobbs. 

The second type of cartoon was the political ones. It may not have always made us laugh but it made an impact none the less. A time of war, political figures in hot water or social issues that made us think. All of this was covered in the image one small square. 

Now days it all memes and gifs and ones we can even make ourselves.
