Nebraskan Woman Charged For Disposing Fetus After An Illegal Abortion

 

A woman was accused of having an illegal abortion plead guilty to disposing the body. Celeste Burgess, 19, entered a guilty plea to the felony charge of removing, concealing or abandoning a dead human body.

She will serve 90 days in jail followed by 2 years probation. 

Nebraska signed a bill that bans most abortions after 12 weeks except for medical or assault type situations. Celeste medically induced an abortion at 28 weeks.
