Dont do This

 

  Most people have no idea how smart these dogs are. Most people never own one, so there is no way they could really know. 

  My dog just learned "Buscuit". If you say it, she will run over and start looking. I found that out yesterday. I have never tried to teach my dog anything. I am way too much of a Libertarian to force my will on such a smart, beautiful creature.   

   My dog knows more words than I can remember. Its becoming quite a pain in the ass. She figured out what Medicine was years ago and she will run and hide under a bed if she hears the word. We started to spell it MED ... but she figured that out after a couple times.... she can also spell. 

My dog is also self aware and she shows compassion and empathy with the creatures around her. Unless you are a rabbit or a squirrel or a big dog or a cat or any animal bigger than a big dog or any person she does not know. Other than that ... she is like a furry Buddhist monk ....

  Last weekend my Grandson came over for a while and when his parents came back to get him .... he ran to the box and got between the two dogs to look out the window. He is the same height as the dogs on the box ... 

His parents were laughing ...
